One room four ways: small changes that have big impact
Source: supply Darren Palmer is known for his expert eyes. He is one of the judges of the neighborhood, but he admits that he is not always so confident.
\"As early as the beginning of my career, I had the opportunity to participate in a reality show that allowed designers with several years of experience to compete with each other in the decoration competition.
I have a few years of experience as a designer, but I really don\'t have a lot of leads in terms of decoration
It\'s like there\'s really no clue at all.
I think the decoration is redundant, the real design is structural and is the basis for solving problems, improving comfort and creating a bigger use.
But this is a decoration exhibition. decoration is very important.
I have no confidence that I can do it.
I called my mentor and friend Dane and asked if he could give me a crash class.
He opened his home to me and gave me a simple workout that allowed me to work out my decorative muscles and made me confident to be a designer and decorator.
Even today, I find this exercise very interesting.
Dane took out all the decorative elements from his lounge, leaving only two sofas and coffee tables.
No art, mats, flowers, etc.
It\'s just a blank space with furniture.
He then gave me a briefing describing the people who lived there and directed me to choose the decor and soft furniture that reflected the performance of each pretend brief by everyone.
I like the process very much and I think I will share it with you-
So in a simple room there are four different styles to answer four different briefings.
Source: supply this looks simple and layered but stays comfortable and low key.
When I think of a space built for human habitation, I automatically think of materials such as leather, wood and metal, as well as some basic original finishes.
The soft furniture is kept to the minimum of comfort, the color is used in small quantities to increase interest, but not a lot of drama.
The form of contrast is the shape and texture used in the carpet as well as the pattern of the side table with mass concrete
It looks like the lamp is a good anchor for a strong, male image.
In terms of the color palette, there are gray, brown leather, blue, charcoal and warm gold.
The wood color of the coffee table and sideboard is similar to the Mirror, which also reflects the color of tan leather.
So, this is actually only one color --
Old or old gold
But it can be seen in three different textures and materials.
The color palette is pure and simple, which is low
The fuss style of male decoration style.
The carpet is a huge impact piece, but, again, it\'s dialed back so it fits in with a subtle color scheme.
It has rich patterns and visual textures, and the ancient blue is the perfect base for building rooms, but that\'s not overwhelming.
The cushions on the sofa are slightly contrasting by introducing light gray and navy and gold cushions.
These are the same size to maintain consistency but increase visual interest.
Tips for making male rooms are: ● use simple colors and materials ● play with materials such as wood, leather, stone and metal ● Don\'t overdecorate ● decorate with candles as usual, add strong but simple-looking living elements such as cactus, fleshy and ferns, or come with more architectural books and artwork, but choose books and items that are suitable for those who use the space.
Room, totally different look.
My room has a completely different look.
Source: The appearance of a woman may have an impact on gender stereotypes, and of course, there are any number of women who will like or hate Uber for itBeautiful pink.
The exercise is to show how different you can make the room look with artwork, soft furniture, decor, flowers and occasional furniture changes.
First of all, the scale of the occasional furniture has changed;
The sideboard and lamps are about 80 smaller than the male appearance.
The sofa and coffee table look bigger and the room is more comfortable.
The artwork also has the look of a woman, and pink and purple are used together with a pastel color scheme.
These two pieces of art fill the walls like mirrors in the male image;
The idea is that if placed on the sofa, anything on the wall should be included in the width of the sofa, from the edge of the frame to the edge of the sofa arm, about 100mm on both sides.
This is the right size for artwork for space and sofa.
One of these pictures, though cute, is not enough for this particular wall.
Carpets are also the basis for building rooms --
Here, it has bright patterns and beautiful environment.
Various colors or neutral rugs could have worked, but this bold statement is a great way to show how different the room is by changing some of the key inclusions.
The mats are all linen and match the linen sofa with two sizes and colors
Dark pink and square waist size, 50 by 50 cm light pink.
They draw a line between color matching.
Coordination and regulationmatchy.
I think it\'s on the right side of that line, but it\'s a close call.
Pink was also found in the metal used for interest in the program;
Where gold is used in the male plan, we have copper.
The Copper Bowl adds height and interest to the coffee table and is linked to the round mirror tray and mirror sideboard sitting under the floral arrangement.
The mirror tray also reflects the color of the flowers and offers a pool-
Just like the depth of the coffee table.
Pay attention to details.

Again, there is a thin line between matching each element in the room and being told by the element to create the scheme, but I think it works.
In terms of using the same basic inclusion to show a different look, I think we have a brief grasp.
Tips for creating female spaces: ● use colors that are female to you ● flowers and colors can be bolder and brighter ● mirrors, copper and marble are in line with this look ● The decoration can be more layered and soft ● The use of more refined furniture
The plan can be implemented in the family.
Source: supply this seems to be about visual relaxation, nothing too gregarious, everything is lightly mixed for the feeling of relaxation.
The palette is a simple mix of simple textures such as white linen, bleached wood and wood grain or basket weaving.
The stone has a texture contrast, but the color is the same as the sofa, reducing the visual impact of the stone.
In terms of texture, the color palette is basic, with woven elements in the form of baskets, trays and silver and white cushions.
Wood log texture lamp has the same warm silver color as the bleached oak sideboard;
Wool and coral fleshed out this simple scheme, which is designed with a small contrast, but is interested enough to get the room to work.
To increase interest is the pattern on the carpet;
Gray and white are very close in depth and color, so it reduces the contrast of this space.
Although it contains quite a bit of white, it will be a suitable family plan.
The gray linen sofa cover is removable and the white linen cushion cover is removable, so occasional accidents can be easily corrected.
Storage basket inside sideboard, allowing toys or books to be easily swept out of sight when needed, white hinges
The box at the top provides a permanent place to live for the toy.
This box is also suitable for storing blankets or any other daily necessities you need but don\'t want to see, and can also allow guests to sit well.
Baby with low maintenance and easy to keep dry-

The fuss of coastal life briefing-
It never needs to be replaced or updated.
This dry flower is useful if you want to sell your house and don\'t want to keep updating flowers, though be careful because some dry flowers look lifeless. Tips to re-
Create a beach look: ● gray, white and bleached wood as the basis ● dial the color back to the bare minimum size ● Use nautical elements such as paddle, coral and driftwood, while starfish and dolphin patterns may take you into a less fashionable direction ● the texture of wood, linen, wool and open basket weaving works well ● The minimum amount of black will prevent the monochrome scheme from looking too blurry ● low fuss and low maintenance method for decoration, using removable covers and washable fabrics on furniture, sofas and coffee tables are a big ticket fee for your space, so choose wisely.
Source: the simplicity of this look is that it provides high contrast and low-key charm, with gold and blue adding a big color to the gray and white rooms.
There is a tendency for women, but the elements attract men and women, which is also suitable for a couple.
There is contrast and color for each inclusion-the blue dip-
For example, dyed curtains can enhance the room perfectly.
Blues appear in the form of flowers, on the mat, and in the arrangement of huge hydrangea flowers, visual interests appear on the ombre effect of the basket under the coffee table and the geometric patterns in the oversized sideboard.
The gloss of the golden lamp embodies elegance and charm, while the mustard on the mat fits well with the mirror above.
Interestingly, the carpet is one of the more sedate elements in the space --
Its blue and gold environment looks very bold anywhere else, but in this case it\'s just a gentle, colorful base.
Gold-colored decorative items, fleshy plants, scented candles and diffuser end up in this sweet-looking, fragrant space.
Tips for gorgeous space: ● Choose a high-contrast color scheme ● play with your pattern-
In this case, the flower language, but the geometry or any number of graphics may seem to be doing hands and feet ● looking for high contrast in the occasional furniture, for example, the geometry on these tables ● there may be more flaws in the decoration. Maybe some rooms work better than others, but it just shows that you can create any number of looks with new carpets, occasional changes to furniture, new lights, soft furniture and decor.
Sofas and coffee tables are a big ticket expense for your space, so by choosing these sofas and coffee tables wisely, starting with a simple, neutral palette, with the introduction of new boyfriends, you can create rooms that change with the seasons (
Or the old exit)
Add new family members or just want to bring a new life to your home.
All it needs is a short idea of the style you want to create, and some good shopping, after all, which is undoubtedly one of the best parts of the decor.
